Jireh Hills Family Homestead

What a great visit! Cheryl was so helpful with arrangements. A wonderful unique experience for my family to learn how to make soap. The most lovely people, animals and beautiful land. My impression of goats has now changed for the better!

Absolutely amazing farm!!!Didn’t expect such great experience! We came with our kids without appointment today as we didn’t know that you should book before and owner gave us a tour around the farm. What can I say, it’s clean, well cared and friendly animals, our kids were thrilled! Owners such a nice people, so friendly and welcoming, I’m sure they had a lot of work around the farm but they took time to show us everything and explain without rush.Definitely will return!!!!

My friends and I took a cheesemaking class at Jireh Hills Family Homestead! Cheryl was super knowledgeable and made it fun for my 8-year old daughter to learn too. Her daughter Ruth-Ann was also a wealth of knowledge and super fun to have around! They also included a tour of their farm, including their farm animals and snuggles with some baby goats. Everyone had a great time. Highly recommend!

Goat snuggles are the best! Cheryl and her family gave us a warm welcome and were great at giving us info and answering all our questions! The farm is beautiful and it was a lot of fun being there! We can't wait to go back!

I took my grandsons to Jireh Hills during March break, and they absolutely lived it. The family was so welcoming to us, and we learned a lot about the farm. The kids loved being able to see all of the animals, especially the baby goats.

Cheryl Charlton is a highly experienced cheese and dairy-product maker as she cares for her family of eight children. It was great to learn from her wealth of knowledge in her cheese class. It can be intimidating to make your own cheese but she makes it achievable!

We attended Jireh Hill's Farm and Forest School and my 5 year old loved every second of it! This family is welcoming, kind, and great teachers! So thankful I found their homestead and can't recommend enough!! We will for sure be back! :)

We booked to stay in the RV on the beautiful property June 2023. It was just perfect! The camper overlooked the field of alpacas and goats! Camper was clean. Fresh bedding, towels, flushable toilet, stocked with fire wood, coffee pods for keurig, propane for BBQ outside. Everything you need.Our 5 year old enjoyed the goat milking and feeding. Free range chickens were a highlight with fresh eggs for breakfast!!We experienced walking the 3 male alpacas! It was a highlight for sure.Cheryl and her family are so welcoming and wonderful hosts! So polite and pleasant and allowed our son to partake in chores.Highly recommend this for young families. Nap time took over our chance to explore the forest...Will save it for next time!Thanks again

This is an amazing place with the sweetest people and animals! My entire family and I stayed in the RV and it was a wonderful new experience. Everything here from the animals, soaps, and fresh produce to the RV was delightful. Definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much to Cheryl(Mama Bear) and her lovely family!
